Amanda-Lea Bell is a Badamia Yamatji and Yued Noongar visual artist working on Wardandi land in Goomburrup. With 7+ years of experience, Amanda-Lea specializes in curation, collaboration, and multidisciplinary art. Amanda-Lea has curated Noongar Country exhibitions (2021, 2022, 2024), co-curated major shows like KANANGOOR/Shimmer, and produced commissioned works. Their art is held in prominent collections and has earned awards such as the Noongar Country Exhibition (2018), South West Art Now (2024), and the Judy Wheeler Commission at PICA (2025). In 2023, Amanda-Lea began developing an installation into a play, supported by various playwright programs and residencies. Frequent collaborations include projects with Noongar Language Specialists and Aboriginal artists, notably the N’yettin-ngal Wagur – Yeye Wongie Exhibition.
