After obtaining an undergraduate degree in graphic design and visual communication, her research focuses dominantly on the visual and political. Her most recent research focuses on the anti-war activism and pacifism of World War I and the Ukraine/Russian war including Ukrainian identity online.
Additionally, she leads an annual study abroad trip to the South of France in an intensive study of rhetorical theory. She finds joy in advising, seeing students break down social barriers, and working for the greater good in the community.
