Tarah Wright is Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences and Director of the Education for Sustainability Research Group at Dalhousie University. Her research is focused in the field of education for sustainable development (ESD), with specific emphasis on measuring bioaffinity and nature exposure to better understand educational interventions, and the role of The Arts in influencing cultural norms, encouraging pro-environmental behavior, and providing drivers for the creation of a sustainable future. Tarah and her family make their home in the city of Halifax, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People, in the Acadian Forest Bioregion, at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean.
